Sicilian Pi


I took a cue from Laura and tried my hand at recreating a Pi favorite. I covered the crust with grated provolone, about 6 cloves garlic minced, sliced tomato sprinkled with generous salt and pepper and a handful of chopped parsley. It was really amazing. The crust wasn't the same, obviously, but I do intend to eventually try it with a pie crust. I think I may make this for dinner again tonight.

holy crap this is awesome!
I awoke last night from a nap in which I had a dream that I was eating a famed Pecan ball with caramel sauce (Josh seemed to take offense at the idea that I used to drink that stuff out of a ramekin, but whatever)--
I'm determined to tackle the sauce this weekend. Up next for me is the artichoke pi. I cannot wait! This is so fun. Let me know if you require the menu. LOVE, Laura
